On Thursday October 7th, 2010, St. Maurice parish hosted an information night on Catholic Funerals. It featured very important and timely topics which pertain to a Catholic understanding and approach to the celebration of the various rituals of the funeral. Speakers include Fr. Galen Bank, Fr. Simon Lobo, and Sean Copeland, a funeral director for a private funeral home.
