HANDS

HANDS is the Youth Ministry's Outreach Project in Support of Mary Mother of the Poor Foundation. Its goals are:

• To help others
• To change the image of youth into caring and loving generations
• To touch the lives of youth in other parts of the world by sharing our resources
• To build a good relationship with others.

Why did we call it HANDS?

• Helping - To change for the better, to aid; assist; relieve; serve; support; sustain; befriend, aid, assist.
• Another - other, someone else
• Needy - being in want, poor enough to need help from others
• Discover - To notice or learn, especially by making an effort
• Sharing - is the joint use of a resource; using or enjoying something jointly with others; giving; gift; generosity

“ROCK 303”
The Heart of our Catholic Faith

Our desire is to build St. Maurice ROCK Youth Ministry on the rock, which is Jesus Christ. Why “ROCK”? ROCK: Reuniting Ourselves to Christ the King.

"Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came and winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on ROCK. And anyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on the sand.” Matthew 7:24-27

With this in mind we come up with this program: “ROCK 303”. ROCK 303 is a program for Senior Youth . The purpose of this is to provide for our youth a deeper understanding and appreciation of the full Christian life. (more . . .)

Activity Calendar

The Youth Group meets every Friday from 7-9pm
